Thursday Night Group Rides

We will be beginning Thursday night group rides starting at 6 pm. The ride will be approximately 10 miles long.

Wednesday Night Group Rides

Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM for a Intermediate/Advanced Group Ride.

Averaging 17 mph for 30 miles. Loop takes approximately 2 hours.

WEDNESDAY TRAINING at TWENTY20

THIS WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 17th. Meet at the shop at 6:30 PM and be ready to ride by 7:00PM. Bring yourself, your bike and your trainer along with a towel for the floor and join us for a CROSS inspired workout. Don’t have a trainer and need one? No worries, we have a full selection of cycleops trainers for purchase.

CYCLOCROSS PRACTICE AND CLINIC

Cross practice begins again at Druid Hill Park. Next wednesday at 6:00PM. To continue through Ocotber. Meet at the mansion house ball field then roll over to the fields. Beginners welcome. Skill specific for the first two weeks. Including Mounts, Dismounts, Carry’s and more. Tag Team Relay intervals to finish off the night. RAIN CANCELS. Twenty20 Climbs Haleakala in Maui

Brian Sacawa leaves the Twenty20 mark on Haleakala in Maui

While researching things to do on a Maui vacation, I came across the Cycle to the Sun event—37 miles of climbing from sea level in Paia to 10,023ft at the summit of Haleakala. The actual race is in a few weeks but, of course, I had to do this ride. It was well worth the $100 oversize bag charge to bring my own machine—I can’t imagine having done that on a rented bike no matter how high-end it might have been. My final time for the ascent was 3 hours 35 minutes. Instead of sticking a flag in the sand at the top, I paid tribute to Twenty20.
